Gem Orion Machinery Pvt. Ltd. is an Indo-Japanese joint venture established in December 2016 between Gem Equipments Private Limited (India) and Orion Machinery Co., Ltd. (Japan). Operations began in April 2017 at a modern manufacturing facility in Arasur, Coimbatore. The company produces high-performance industrial chillers using Japanese design and technology for cooling DM water, pure water, water-ethylene glycol mixtures and water-soluble coolants.
Its product range includes inverter chillers, precision chillers, coolant chillers, dual-channel chillers for laser applications and EDM chillers. These systems serve plastics, pharmaceuticals, laser cutting, machining and other process industries. Gem Orion focuses on energy efficiency, precise temperature control, reliability and after-sales support, combining Japanese engineering standards with local manufacturing to deliver cost-effective cooling solutions across India.
